Saturday, December 14, 1- 4pm ET / 12-3pm CT
for an Extended Meeting for Worship
Early Friends often sat for hours at a time in worship. In limiting our worship time to an hour or less, is the power of the experience diminished for today’s Friends? Could sitting in worship for an extended period of time deepen your worship experience? Come and see!
Consider creating a “hub.” That is, invite others to meet in person at your local meetinghouse or in someone’s home. Then, using their computer and Zoom connection, join the online Extended Meeting for Worship from there. You can enjoy being physically present with one another while also joining with others online.
We will sit primarily in silence, speaking out of the silence as each person feels led. Where will an hour-and-a-half, two hours, three hours take you . . . if you let it?
